Method
- 1. In the evening, stir all ingredients and cover the mixture with clean, luke-warm water (do not use chlorinated or copper-rich water!!). If you do not have Bio-Bubble, it can be supplemented with 1 Tsp of apple cider vinegar. It is best to leave this mixture to soak in a ceramic or glass dish (can be covered but should not be sealed initially). Do not use stainless steel (anti-bacterial) or plastic containers (due to leaching of phthalates). Leave to soak overnight (minimum 8 hours). Left-overs can be sealed and kept in the fridge for approximately five days.
- Note: The above ingredients are just a suggestion. All kinds of grains, seeds, nuts and dried fruits can be used to make this muesli – your imagination is the limit.
- Serving suggestions: Serve with milk, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Can be sweetened with xylitol or stevia (usually not necessary as the dried fruit gives a lot of sweetness).
